It went really well. I was accepted into my girlfriends family, which is a big deal for me, also a big relief. Got to see things that really open your eyes and make you appreciate what we take for granted. Saw some beautiful temples, and scenery(which includes the city.) To top it off, the food was fantastic. All in all the trip was F*CKING great. Can't wait to go back.

I'll be posting a lot of pictures once I get the opportunity. For now, there is a lot of unpacking, and i'm tired. 18 hours of flying wears you out.

I spent most of my time in Shanghai. But we spent a day in Hangzhou to go see some really nice scenery. Unfortunately about 5 million other people did the same thing, so the city was horribly packed. Bit that's what happens on Chinas second biggest holiday. Lol.



I'm really hoping these ones turned out well. I took some night shots of the city, but that's one thing this camera is horrible at. Night time shots.

I didn't take any photos of the hookers in the Subway stations or anything. There was a hooker shop about 3 blocks from the apt I was staying at. It said massages on the door, but you could see a bunch of girls inside the dark lobby wearing high heels and lingerie. lol. It was pretty obvious what kind of massages they were doing.

lol! Shanghai is pretty awesome. It's a good get away from the slow paced country we are from. I couldn't handle living there, but it's good for vacations.

Her dad owns a company that provides advice, and parts for new electronics(You tell him what you are trying to make, he gives ideas on what parts will achieve that, then he sells them to you.) So as far as Shanghai goes, yep middle class. lol. You must not spend much time outside of the financial areas? Either that or you're just too old for the asians eyes! LOL! People there seem to love starring at white people. So her family was ecstatic about meeting me, and having me as part of the family. They would fight about who was going to drive me around the city to show me good views each day. I think her family likes me more than my own family. I guess they don't know me to well. heh.

Lol, ya. It was busy the whole week. We expected that before we left though. The 1st was Chinese National Day, so a lot of Chinese people took the week off to visit family. A lot of people left Shanghai, but a lot more visited. I'm sure tree was well over 30 million people in the city all week. Considering 28 million people live there. It was a cool experience though.
As for the church not being busy...it was busy in that area, but there was a huge steel gate blocking the entrance. I was sticking the lense through the gate for that photo. Lol.

Holy shit, the food looks extremely gross, especially since half of it looks prepared in terrible conditions lols (streets, small rooms with shit splattered on walls?), the high up pics make me tremble just looking at the photos and looks crowded as F*CK. Glad you had fun tho, just not my cup of tea. Id still like to experience it sometime though, glad you made it home with all your organs bud.
