 CSGO release date and price! Valve just announced CSGO is Aug. 21 and the price is going to be........ ONE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS! Jk, it's only $15. That price is crazy considering how much they could charge and people would still buy it. I was dreading the $40-50 but without a doubt was going to get it. The people that weren't sure about getting it can pick it up no problem for $15. It will also encourage all new CS players coming in deciding what to buy with the newest game being cheaper than Source.
The funny thing is, the beta keys are still going for more than the actual game is going to be now.

"The beta for the game continues to expand. A May 22 CS:GO update increased player capacity from 5 vs 5 to 15 vs 15 and added all-important chickens to de_inferno. "
