Piano or Trumpet..........what instrument is better......and why. Any other instruments you want to see up? Ask! :D

Trumpet is better! I played it in...I think it was fifth grade. It was a fairly easy instrument for beginners and could really make a lot of noise. It's also a unique piece of equipment.

I don't play any instruments. But just by what i've seen I think a Piano is much better. Like those big ones(can't think of the name right now, grand piano or something?)
I think you could do so much more with a Piano. But I dunno, both would be cool to know how to play.

I has a piano, and a trumpet. don't play the trumpet anymore... still fuckaround with the piano off and on.

TRUMPET!!!!!!!! Both of these instruments are easy to learn.. they are both great instruments..but I think the difficulty for both is around the same..Mastering the piano has to be incredibly hard..I have never tried..but I have fucked around with a lot of other instruments and Trumpet is by far the hardest to build a range that sounds nice..It's also insanely hard to even figure out half of the shit you can do on it..So much tongue work.. a lot of lip work too..but because I'm in love with the Trumpet I definitely I AM A HOMOSEXUAL it ( I also think it's harder than piano to master..tehe).

To be honest, Piano by far.

Idk the sound of it is a lot nicer for the ear if played the way is supposed, but on that note i think every instrument would feel nice to the ear.

Trumpet... cause I play it! Also, it's a makeshift vuvuzella.

Why did i pick the piano? Why don't you ask any of the other n00bs that have to listen to this blatant homosexual go on about ^^ that all the damn time... and don't get me started on her... his... it's voice when it decides to sing...

Piano is the easy choice. If you can learn to play the piano, you can learn and better understand any other instrument.

personally i would pick the guitar, its a little easier to just pick up and play once oyu learn how anddudes that can play the guitar get all the boobies they can handle, plus its fun

Im not going to choose. I dont play an instrument at all except for drums way back but I still love both of these. Its like my choices are do I like Sergei Rachmaninoff playing his Piano concerto NO.3 in D minor or do I like Louis Armstrong playing Edith Piafs La Vie en Rose (who is the artist used for "the kick" in Inception). I could listen to both all day and It would never get old.

One thing to keep in mind, a high end piano can cost more than a car.

I would have to say piano. The reason for this is that piano has the most versatile and broad note range in the musical family... and, most importantly, its made to be able to play both treble and bass clefs simultaneously. This means that all of the music you make on it can be very very polyphonic. With trumpet, you can't play chords and your musical range is limited to a few octaves at most. The piano sometimes has 11 octaves! Trumpet is an awesome instrument and it has its niche, but piano is so much more versatile... AND IT GETS YOU LAID. Its just a shame that its so hard to learn (not that its hard to push a key, its that its hard to wrap your mind around playing two completely different lines over each other, one on each hand).

I want to die sleeping on a Steinway grand.

The Trumpet is such a gimmick.
