 Haelp you guise
Sup naggers, i went to a sam´s club this weekend, and put my eyes on the electronics department, specially the LCD TV flat screens.
I have 3 options, and i´ve come to your "aid", i know what im looking for and the characteristics, but asking fellow n00bos wouldnt hurt whatsoever, specially faggots that like electroncs as i do.
This are the following:
1) FULL HD 40¨ SONY BRAVIA, aprox. cost $1600
2) FULL HD 50¨ LG, aprox cost $1100
3) FULL HD 42¨SAMSUNG, aprox cost $1400
So i was thinking about getting the samsung, but now that i saw these other 2 i cant decide for one, the only thing that bother´s me are the brands (of these 2), i dont like sony as much as everybody would, i think that brand its fucked up and make shit that starts malfunctioning 2 months after you bought it, i personally like LG, but i dont know how good they are on TV´s and last but not least the samsung one.
So guys, any clues about it, sound, visual quality, etc...oh and the result may be influential on my desition.
Thanks

I've seen Sony and its pretty F*CKING neat, but my Grandmother owns a Samsung LCD monitor and I was just blown away by the vibrant color, and now every time I look around Samsung televisions usually catch my eye. I'll say right off the bat just forget about the LG.
My family here personally owns a 32" JVC and it looks quite nice only problem is external speakers are required as the ones built in even make the best sounds in the world sound like shit. Picture quality is awwright and the color is nice. It was a good buy for the fact the Panasonic we wanted became out of stock.
TL;DR personally recommendation is Samsung, Sony, JVC, LG in that order.

I have a Samsung 40" 120HZ ToC (touch of color) that I use as both a TV and monitor and I love it. I have 3 monitors/TV's on my desk right now and they are all Samsung.
NOTE: Anything very large format, like > 51", I tend to be drawn to Mitsubishi

samsung for the win man, sony is totally overpriced and lg can be hit or miss (at least in my experience) samsung makes good quality products, and they keep it affordable, can't beat it.

You should get The 47" 120hz Vizio its the best bang for the buck and has a better picture than the samsung and the sony. Thats what I have and I am very happy with it expecially because it was only 900$ at sams club when I got it.

Yeah...I've got a 32" Vizio (two actually, thanks to Amazon.com mistakenly sending me two!)...it's freakin' amazing.

It was probably one of the worst $209 investments I've ever made. I find it is extremely hard to play video games with a giant dick in your ass.

I'm for the samsung too. Sony's cool but samsung is definitely a step up. N there's gotta be a reason why that LG 50" is cheaper than them all - it's shit.
Ion's vizio does sound good though - i'd check that out haha

I'd go with the LG. F*CK the "it's bigger, it's cheaper must be something wrong" theory. LG is definitely an exception because they set for a different goal...Making good products with a lower price tag...Isn't that what the economy is about?
Edit: I own an LG monitor, puts all the other ones on the desk to shame

yes in theory, but LGs aren't that great, they're F*CKING amazing for a little bit and they crap out quicker than you can get your money's worth out of it. samsung is the best bang for the buck IMO

I'm not sure what series of LG the one you're looking at is, but if you can, find yourself a LG Scarlet... those TV's put others to shame.
I can't vouch for the sound quality on the TV itself, seeing as it was hooked up to a surround sound system, but the visual quality is beyond what I have ever seen in a TV before.
