I bought COD4 for my PC a week after it came out. after playing, i hated the pc version. Should I buy the PS3 version because I don't hate the game, I just hate the lag.

if you're having lag on your computer i suggest you upgrade your system. i have COD4 on xbox360, and it's fun, but using a controller for a FPS game has always made me go crazy. i have since purchased COD4 for the pc, but my system is fucked and lags with lots of gunfire, so i'll be playing it more regularly in a couple weeks after my gfx cards and motherboard get replaced FOR FREE :)

When they make it possible to attach a keyboard and mouse for some micro action, it's over for PC games. lol

I hate as well but golden eye, perfect dark and halo are still all classics in my eyes.

yeah corpse, i'm going to look into that. one of my buddies was telling me he thought it is already possible to hook up a keyboard and mouse with the xbox, but i haven't spent any time searching for it yet.

It is possible, but it doesn't work like it should honestly. I'll be one of the few to tell you to play it on what you're most comfortable with. I actually play on both, because i have clans on the 360 and PC--i enjoy them both equally.

there ARE adapters for the xbox360 that allow a keyboard and mouse input instead.

there was a similar adapter for the original xbox but it worked horrible. the mouse was not smooth AT ALL. I hear now the adapter is much smoother, I have even heard that some of the top cod xbox players / halo players use such an adapter for accuracy

The top players do not use them--i know because i've played with them. They don't because they can't use them in competition.

actually that makes sense sox. i was getting my ass kicked a lot more than usual on the 360 lately, and when i watched the death cam and their reaction times to my surprise attacks i was like "wtf! i can't move my shit like that with my controller!!" it looked like how i would play on cs.

Again, no. The best players use the controller because you have to use it in competition.

Online only/MLG = Console
Online and lan = PC

MLG isn't really doing anything for COD4 on a competitive level. If COD is to succeed, it will be on the PC format.
