Damned disappointing. I don't want to post spoilers here, but there's a bunch of stuff (mostly the coolest stuff) from the book just missing.

If you haven't read the book, you might like the movie, but, if you loved the book, you'll wonder where this POS came from. I'm pissed I spent the money to go see it with Ben and Supafly.

My friend Lisa went to see it with her father, and she posted a little blog about it about how much it sucked so much ass.

Ever sine the HP movies, I've pretty much decided that if you like the books, don't watch the movies, and if you like the movies, don't read the books.

I didn't think the HP movies were too bad actually. Bad acting, but they had the basic parts. Of course, I hadn't read them for a loong time before the movies were made.

What did that have todo with anything? I agree with tucker, most of the time when they make a movie out of the book, if you read the book the movie seems like a POS

Me.

I just picked up the new Halo novel, and I've just finished reading the Left Behind series for the third time. ^_^

Books > movies has been going on since Jurassic Park. Are you guys used to it by now?

Jurassic Park
The Hannibal series
LOTR
HP

It's impossible to write a proper screenplay based on a novel. LOTR came the closest, and guess what? LOTS OF WALKING. Time to accept that movies are just "based" on books and can't be everything you want them to be.

Dude, I loved the Jurassic Park book. I saw the movie before I read the book, but I believed that the book was alot better.

Now I want to read it again!

The Bourne Identity.

The book was the BEST! The movie just plain sucked.
