Post In Game Voice Chat
There has to be something said about this. I seriously got a headache listening to all the static noise/ people yelling/ people making odd noises just so they could be heard within both the Elite and public servers.

My attempt to keep playing and remedy the situation was by me turning off my in-game voice so that maybe I could play with the game with the same groups of people in the server, but then I couldnt even here what my team-mates were saying on the location of enemy targets. that sucked.

2 rounds later I re-enable the in-game voice chat and all the same "radio chatter" was still going on.

I am trying not to rain on peoples good times, hanging out with friends, talking to one another, and/or game play... but it seems the more people that are dead the more "radio chatter" goes on. The STFU when dead notice is Overtly Ignored!

I am not saying that we, " n00b's ", should kick, ban, slap, slay people for talking... that would be just plain rude and un-called for. But I would LIKE to ask people, is to take in consideration that there are other people trying to play better, have a good time, and enjoy the same server space as the chatter boxes.

And for those that are ready to flame this thread or just yell out stfu in response to my post. You can always Type on the keyboard of what you want to say in game .. and thus still talk with your friends.

I am done venting now,
Odebram

It is kind of sad when I need to mute everyone to play. And I normally never mute people. I never even muted Kano....So yes it needs to be calmed down.

I think we should deffinitely enforce everything more strictly in the elite server. I mean, if we use the elite server for the good server that everyone plays at, then everyone goes there and the Main server is trashed with nubs. I would like to crack down on the elite server, get back the reason it was made in the first place, for the Elite to play on when they have "graduated" from pwning n00bs on the main server. Maybe put more stuff like scrims on there, make it harder and more CS-like. The Main server should be for the general n00b population to hang out and have fun.

One semi-solution, of course, would be to turn off alltalk, but that was already discussed and I sort of agree that it's nicer to have it on. Just bringing that up as a possibility.

voice_scale 0 or voice_enable 0 (your mic wont be heard)

Everytime I go to mute someone, I only get like two or three people show up when there are in fact 16 people in the server.

It's bullshit.
