I don't think DSL or Cable is better than the other. There's no way to tell. One service will be shitty in one part of the country as opposed to the other no matter what. There's no real way to tell. My DSL CO is almost in my F*CKING backyard so I never have problems, whereas my friend who lives about 5 miles from me can't even play BF1942 without massive lag. I had cable until about a year or so ago because it was slow and shitty and went out on me everytime it rained, another friend has the CO almost in his backyard and he does great with it.
