I've never been a fan of the cloud... I have to use the Steam cloud and that's about all "cloud" I want to use. I dont' even have my Apple Cloud or whatever turned on just cause I dont' F*CKING trust it. I have seen the Clouds of the past and those have lost data or you lose access and all that sensitive data is gone. I want all my data to be local, right here. Not in some cloud that could be accessed by others.

I don't agree with having the cloud as your 'permanent' storage device/facility but as a temporary or interim solution it's fine.

i use dropbox to hold files like pictures, vids, music, docs, etc. that i need on the go. it is a "hard drive" that i can access from home and on my phone. i will not use "cloud" drives for any files i deem personal or sensitive.

If that included versioning (subversion, git, mercurial, cvs I don't care), I'd be all in, but raw storage is overrated for anything more important than random porn downloads once you start to use versioning on a regular basis.
