 Moonanites Bomb Scare
Anyone hear about it? I swear, it's the FUNNIEST news story so far in '07. Here's the link to the related news story (click the links at the bottom of the news story for more), and yes, this is real; it was on the news ALOT.

So wasn't it self-evident that the LED Mooninite displays weren't actually bombs? Not according to Attorney General Martha Coakley, who explained the deeply suspicious nature of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force guerrilla promotion to reporters last night:
"[The device] had a very sinister appearance. It had a battery behind it, and wires."
Got that? The litmus test for terrorist devices include both batteries and wires... yet, strangely enough, no actual explosives. Just to make sure you don't get arrested for inciting a terrorist panic, here's a brief list of things you shouldn't leave lying on the streets of the city of Boston.
• Electric wall clocks
• Television remote controls with the battery cover removed
• Flashlights
• Broken laptops
• Old Game Boys
• Batteries
• Wires
• Cyberpunk dildos
• Old animatronics for your Christmas lawn display
This list is not meant to be comprehensive. Just a heads up: batteries and wires are 'sinister.'

You guys are the little f*ckwads who're the ones making this into a huge media circus...the ones who sit out with signs mocking 9-11 and sh*t. I say the two that got arrested should be punished just for the simple fact that they're making light of everyone being scared about terror attacks now. And, yes...I saw the pictures and I can see where people got freaked out. The battery pack at the bottom could easily be mistaken for a bomb, you little f*ck tards.

I can understand their "better safe than sorry" course of action, but they shouldn't be getting sued for it. It was just an advertisement.

LOL you said light about lite brites... I think your a returd for believing that they should get punished for anything more than a vandalism charge, which is what it will probably be when turner network puts their money behind the people they wanted to do this in the first place.. AND THEY ARE STILL PUTTING THEM UP!
http://cgi.ebay.com/Cartoon-Network-LED ... dZViewItem
and for the batterypack on the bottom, how could it look like a F*CKING bomb when the batteries were out in the open, with the wires OBVIOUSLY going to the lite brite? If it was going to be a terrorist attack, they wouldn't put them out in the open and attach them to buildings.. They would do what all the towel heads, and either run in with a bomb strapped to theirselves(Perhaps a lite brite that says F*CK the usa?) or they'd drop a suitcase off inside.. not OUTSIDE. the worst they could do would be to blow a hole in the building, injuring a rat maybe? Overall it was a bad marketing stunt that SHOULD have been reported before they did it to make sure retards wouldn't flip out and think it was a bomb.. Even though I think Tank, Bullet, or Weedman could tell it wasn't a bomb.

They were up for 2 damn weeks before the police noticed. If anything, people should be pissed at the city's officials.

Oklahoma City Bombing :O
I found out about this in detail last night. Poor little mooninites. They just wanted to show their affection for the human race. And yeah, it does look suspicious on buildings, it would take you a little bit to figure out it's just an add if you didn't know about the mooninites. They put them at odd angles as if inexperienced people put them up, so it makes it look "off," which is probably why it was even noticed by authorities in the first place.

This publicity stunt was done in about 8-9 other cities, Boston was the only one to react in such a matter.
Like they were saying on the news, it has to do a lot with the generation.
Thousands of people know of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, suprising that no one cop/ law enforcer recognized it.
P.S ATHF gained 4% more viewers since this incident
Turner has agreed to pay about 2 mil for damages
