If you were born in the US you are an American no matter what people say. If you moved here from another country and got a citizenship you are a citizen of America its been estimated that it takes 3 generations of the family for you to be able to call yourself "American" if you moved here. But America is not like any other country it is a melting pot of people, Germans, Italians, Russians, Middle Easterners, Chinese, Japanese, Hispanic, Africans, etc.
But i am considered an American even if my parents are from Iran but yet i was born here. So its all good.

nah in reality Iran is neutral. America is just using the excuse of nuclear weapons to take all opposition against America out. If you were to go to any other country in the world you can see that thr is some animosity against America. America is using the best form of propaganda, FEAR. And the policy "ill hit you before you hit me" . etc etc, it goes alot deeper to but whatever.
And no Iran wasnt involved in any terrorist attacks. :P

remindes me of a funny incident mang.
i was applying for MESA (just one more point added to my 1337 brain) and you have to give all your info and shit, age gender and race. well, they had american indian, african american, latino, and other latino. no white or asain, just an "other" box in which to write down some shit.
in 30 years my school dropped from 70% white people to 10%, being replaced by illegals.
in the end i checked in other and put down "European American"
