I have a 50" Sony lcd tv and its great my PS2 is hooked up to it. I've heard that plasma tvs have a tendency to burn the picture in the screen im not sure if thats true or not?

1000GBP = about $1800USD

The only problem i would have with it is finding some way to sit far enough back to see everything and still having a place for the keyboard and mouse.

No...this is the military. I don't know anything for certain, but I'm an avionics technician on the EA-6B Prowler (only base for those is Whidbey), and we tend to stay on those once we're trained on them. It would be August of next year when I transfer again, so around there.

To solve all the burn problems. buy an LCD. You only have to replace the bulb in those after like, 2,000 hours of use or something.

2,000 hours? they only last that long? i have a digital projector(10 foot screen) and the bulb last 5,000 hours on that.

It's not that short it might be 20,000 hours. The one we have downstairs is like 4 months old and we've never had a problem, then again it's only a 36"

And when you play games on it, It's amazing. i havnt had the chance to play CZ on HD but I do play PDZ for 360 on it in HD and it's amazing. Sometimes when you see texture from an angle on the screen it makes them look cooler than they do if you look at them right, but you can't see what you're playing lol.

yeah i do have a lcd as well...its just in my bedroom now. Was my living room tv. Before it was the 32" lcd in the living room and a 15" in the bedroom now that i have the 43" plasma in the living room the 32" is going in my bedroom.

The only thing with lcd's is that they tend to pixelate when things move too fast. i stopped playing gran turismo 4 on it because it seemed to blurr too much. But it could just be me. Still haven't tried my gaming systems on the plasma... been working like 56 hrs a week.

I have had my lcd for over a year now and no bulbs have burned out. lcds last like 5+ years i think.

Oh yeah and i live in North Seattle/ Shorline

I'm waiting for ps3 to come out then i will play HD games. I never bought the 360 because i don't care very much for the games on 360. I'd much rather pay for ps3. wouldn't have an xbox either but it was free.
