Here's some ideas I'm coming up with. I will get with the tourney crew once I have time, but stay sharp! these events may show up at a n00bfest near you.

5 member teams

1 map per scrim

3 side rotations

Quick and painless. Each team is pitted against another on 4 maps. Dust 2, Dust, Inferno and Aztec, in that order. Two 5 man teams will duke it out on one map, trading sides only three times. First side to 7 is declared the victor. Two out of three determines the winner. The Winner progresses, the loser is eliminated.

8 Clans, no one player can scrim with another clan, no outside clans permitted. No ringers from the outside. No speculating. All weapons allowed.






-=Strange dual wars=-

Short and hard-earned. 2 man teams will go against each other on fy_iceworld, the scrims will go fast, so no other map is needed. The winner progresses, the loser is eliminated. The first Team to reach 10 wins takes the game.

Acknowldging the fact that some people cannot scrim on certain days, or at certain times, we can have these events strecthed over a couple of days, perhaps a week if need be. I'd like to help head up these ideas, but if you sorry excuse for clans are up for it, express your intrest.

I like it! I really think this type of competition would be good n00b fun and would be interesting to see how these ladder events would end up ranking the n00b clans. I like the 2 man team concept and would like to see individual challenge ladder added as well... Don't forget to add the grudge matches (I'd like to show Twiztid who his daddy is...) :twisted:

I think Tourny week should do it, and hopefully get it down to a system we can run 1 week every quarter (4 times a year for those mathmatically challenged). :P

Would have to be no mercy on the rules and policies. Can't make the schedule - tough love. No show = forfiet or play man down for teams. :?
