 I win. Well, actually... not quite...
This is a leaked version of the beta, but still requires that you have an invitation from Blizzard in order to play. If you haven't been keeping tabs on the beta status, it's now open to all friends and family which means the closed public beta for us to get a chance to play in will be extremely soon. I'd say in a week.

Re: I win. So I hear the beta is next week and there are NO restrictions in terms of taking screen shots and basically spilling the beans on what is inside the game so far. My question is are you able to invite friends/family to the beta if you get an invite?

"The Diablo III beta test consists of the first half of Act One, with some story elements and game features removed. The beta test is largely a tech demo, with little game content open to fan feedback; it is not intended to be a full game balance playtest, like many MMORPGs. "

Re: I win. No, you won't be able to invite friends or family in, unfortunately. Blizzard is currently doing their family and friends only for the beta that's going on right now. There's no set date on when we will all get invites for beta, but it should be very soon. The beta is the first part of the first act and it looks like there may even be game modes included with Diablo III like a DOTA mod. There's even speculation of a unicorn level replacing the old cow level.

Re: I win. Blizzard announced yesterday that they will have a D3 expansion in 2014, which really means 2018...
