Objective: Be the last biome standing!


Neutral Ground: NORMAL BIOMES ARE NEUTRAL GROUND AND ALL RESIDENCE THEREIN WILL NOT BE INVOLVED IN COMPETETIVE PLAY. If a faction character is caught griefing, stealing or otherwise causing dismay for neutral players, there will be removed from the white-list and will not be able to play during the duration of the server (until the next reset, or until the playerbase seems fit to let them play agian.) Vice versa for normal biome players. If you choose to play in a normal biome, you cannot engage in faction warfare. If you choose to join a faction, you submit everything you cannot carry to the normal biome players.

Warfare is to be conducted ABOVE GROUND ONLY. Underground is neutral to allow players a change to gather materials and such so everyone has a fair advantage.

RULES:
Normal biome players cannot be attacked. Trading with them is allowed.
Each biome must have a specific skin and all players of that biome need to wear that skin AT ALL TIMES.
Above ground warfare, ANYTHING GOES. Do whatever it takes to destory the competition. In order to 'take over' a factions biome, you must terraform it into your own. ONLY THEN can you build on it. YOU CANNOT BUILD IN ANOTHER FACTIONS BIOME. Any player of a different faction caught out of their biome is tresspassing and will be killed on site. This does not count for neurtral biomes and underground. Fighting can take place in neutral biomes ONLY if it does NOT pose a threat to neutral biome players. Be sure you're clear of their structures and stuff.

Sounds interesting. Clarification is needed for my sex addled mind though. Faction switching should not be allowed due to becoming an unholy power as a neutral player then joining a faction and raping everyone or being a spy and griefing your own team. I don't know if open trading with neutrals should be allowed either because bias war funding.

If I'm understanding correctly the object is to terraform the biome not mass destruction?

I don't even get this.

1. What if a desert guy wants snow? A tundra guy needs cactus, etc
2. Does this mean people can destroy / steal my stuff?
3. Can I blow up other people's stuff?
4. What do when you're the only one in the server?
5. Why would you not just play CS?

I think this could have the potential to be alot of fun, with the right set of rules. Imagine like a set time/date that you can attack, and you have to build boobie traps into you place some one from blowing up a certain section. There are a bunch of different scenarios.

Agreed and sounds fun.

1. If a desert guy wants snow he has to risk going into the biome to go get it. He just cant build there.
2. Yes they can come wreck your stuff, unless you choose to play in the normal biome then you will be left alone
3. If you play as one of the factions you are free to blow any other factions stuff up, except for neutral players
4. Thats up to you. Build up your fortress, set traps, blow up the other factions stuff, the sky is the limit.
5. CS is more like a quick game of Yahtzee! while something like this would be more like a game of Risk.

I think it would be fun and would definitely bring me back to the game.

I do think that before joining the server you should have to sign a faction charter or declare yourself neutral in the forums, so that way things are kept straight.

AHAHAHHAHAH .... ill just build a sky fortess and drop tnt down upon all, that, or go to the end and beat it while u guys are fighting, or maybe just stay below ground and blow up everything under you. :3

lol, maybe if we had a "deathmatch" server that was separate, or a 1 week long server with some event at the end like capture the flag or something but I'm not trying to spend time building all sorts of cool contraptions and then have freakin money come in and TNT it up.

If we're doing a separate server, a 6 hour hunger games event would be humorous.

The point in having factions per biome was to set boundaries. I mean, it'd be easier than a faction trying to build a big ass fence around their land.

Which can be done, don't get me wrong, they don't have to be limited to biomes.

What do you guys think? We can do factions outside of biomes, you'll just have to make your own property boundaries. Build walls, fences, etc. Would be a better idea.

BUT.


Anything your faction builds MUST BE MARKED. Anything un-marked would be considered neutral and should be safe from any harm.
