Bukkit & Lockette

Dead Man [n00b] Member Joined: Wed Dec 16, 2009 11:18 pm Posts: 498	Bukkit & Lockette So, Bukkit is still in development in regards to Minecraft 1.0.0, and Lockette is in similar stages keeping up with that. Due to the fact that some people can't play nice and not take other people's shit, and I've been getting asked about Bukkit and Lockette over and over again, we're gonna see how things go putting them on as is. If it works alright, awesome. If there's some issues, either we can ignore them or go back to not having them till any issues are resolved. See what kind of bugs I can find if any, both with Bukkit and Lockette, and if it's more than what is already buggy with MC 1.0.0, might hold off on the update. _________________ "When did this Kog'Maw get here?"

After building some stuff and giving myself some items, I switched things over to a Bukkit server using craftbukkit build 1580. Everything I had in the world was still there and I've yet to notice any major bugs. Currently the bukkit website is down, for maintenance I'm guessing, so I cannot download the latest version of Lockette. In the meantime, I'm going to try doing a bunch of stuff to see if there are any bugs I've yet to come across, and some fixes as well. Seems they may have fixed how double doors works if I read correctly. =) _________________ "When did this Kog'Maw get here?"

Money and I got to the end, killed the dragon, I tested the nether and all of that seems to be fine. NOTE: This wasn't tested with our world, so no dragon has been killed there, yet. All was done on the little test server I set up, so nobody has missed out on the End Raid. I'm gonna try a few more things in regard to Lockette, but that seems to work fine along with bukkit, which actually did fix the double door bug! So, yeah, the server will most likely be down for a brief period of time at some point tomorrow so that we can get things all set up. Nothing should be lost when the world folder is moved into the bukkit directory and we WILL make a backup just in case. _________________ "When did this Kog'Maw get here?"
