At this time it seems as though you have a decent amount hours logged in the server, but only 1 post on the forums. If you are truly interested in becoming a n00b please take the time in the next week or so to increase your participation the forums and then bump this thread. Edit: basically all that goodkat said. I'm on my phone so can't type fast but yeah. And in getting your post count up, don't make a reputation for yourself that you might regret. We know you want to be in, but don't annoy people by bringing up old posts or simply posting comments that don't contribute to the topic.

Please read Sweet Pea's post again. While we appreciate your enthusiasm, we want to make sure you are going to be around for more than a day. Be patient, get to know people. That's not going to happen in a day.

He understands what the message says, but I spoke with him personally. I instructed him to post back in a day or so. He's not disregarding my post. It's just some off-forum communication occurred. :)

I'm surprised he came back with how everyone's hounding him on the forums. LOL!

Hello and welcome to n00bfest!

The reason you have received this message is because you have been accepted as a [rct] of n00bfest - this means that you are now a recruit for the [n00b] tag and all that comes with it.

There are, however, a couple of things that are required of you to get into n00bfest and receive the [n00b] tag.

• It is required for you to be active both in the game server and the forum. This means posting replies to threads you find interesting that will add to the conversation - it does not mean spam "lol," "haha," or many other one word responses simply to raise your post count. This also means that you need to let us know when you're in the server. We're not always looking for your name wondering when so-and-so is going to be on. It is your responsibility to say hello to us, make sure you get our attention, and are able to let us get to know you.
  
• Read the rules and obey them. As a council, we check up on how the admins respond to you; if you get banned for something stupid like team killing or talking back to an admin, you will heavily reduce your chances of getting into n00bfest.
  
• Read the previous rule again, and understand that there is going to be some hazing. If you catch any shit from an admin, understand that it's not a personal vendetta against you; it's just our way of making sure that you can take a little bit of abuse and harassment without blowing up and acting like a douchebag. If you're not OK with that, then get in contact with myself or any other Council member and we can discuss it in further detail. If you feel an admin is out of line, send an email to elders(at)n00bfest(dot)com and it will be addressed. Do NOT make a thread on the forum bitching out an admin or any other member. Such flagrant douchebaggery will not be tolerated and will likely result in a ban.
  
• Do not ask when your [rct] period will be over. That information is for us to know and you to find out -- if and when you're accepted into [n00b].
  
• Please respond to this message. We need to know that you actually got the message and that you understand what is required of you. Once you respond, you may wear the [rct] tag and take your first step into earning n00bdom.
  
• Make sure you join the n00bfest rct group here: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/n00bfestRct
  
• Also make sure you authenticate your Steam ID once you are accepted. You can authenticate here: http://www.n00bfest.com/auth/
