Your SteamID is the series of numbers that comes up in console when you type "status". If you don't know how to bring up console, you can by going into the options menu, advanced options, and enabling developer console. It will automatically be bound to the key above the tab key. What you should paste here should be STEAM_<abunchofnumbers>.

Welcome, add the [rct] tag to your name and play in the n00bfest servers so that everyone can get to know you a bit. There are votes that occur every once in a while (however, don't ask when the next vote is, there's no way to know, and asking will just get you flamed) to decide which [rct]s deserve to be accepted into the community. As long as you stay cool and play often on the servers, you should be fine (becoming a member has nothing to do with being good). Be patient...it might take a while to be accepted.
