2/3 of those things were in Battlefield 2. I like how they removed features that already existed in BF2 when they made BC2 and now they're going to release them in BF3 as "brand new" amazing features.

I hope the prone position isnt like BF2. when the game first came out you could run full speed, dive into the air, and HS someone mid air. It was so bad they tried to patch the F*CK out of it.

I can't agree more, that's a big lack in BC2. I'm not that excited though, I won't be the one buying it right when it will come out. I'll wait until it drops on steam. I hate buying 50-60$ games and then realise it's shit. I'll wait for reviews, people whining, then I'll maybe buy it.

And yeah like Gman said. I've never been a big F*CKING fan of prone position in Battlefield games. In Bf2, the fastest guy proning is the only one to survive. As soon as you prone, you spray, then kill the guy with such a precision that it sucks. If we could have some kind of realistic physics where you need to wait until the guy is ready to shoot in prone position to have a better aim, it would be better than jumping and immediatly having a perfect aim when you press the prone button...

I got a beta key for it somewhere.Personally i loved 2 but getting in and out of that game was murder,even on a high end machine.It got better after some patches but still took a commitment to play.And dont even get me started on having to reinstall the dam patch and punkbuster being a bitch.Still there was nothing like grabbing your flight stick,jumping in a chopper and capping flags.Never did good with the jets,but hot swapping from pilot to gunner in the choppers rocked.

Bad Company was a spin off of battlefield in that it was going to focus on a bit more single player action with the battlefield esthetic, first one was console only until BC2.

If I remember Lecoq BC2 is Cyning's first "battlefield" experience.

Never stopped playing the Battlefield games, have them all at home and still play some of them sometimes... Great game, it gets boring after a while, but when it comes out, it's up to date with the new technology and physics so that's why it"s really great everytime there's a new one.

Sorry for being a cunt cyning :P Bad Company 2 and Battlefield (1942 + Expansions, 2 + expansions, 2142 and 3) are complete different things since Bad Company first focused on a single player story and a new engine with new physics. BF3 sounds interesting so far, you should look into it!

1942 was the shit....thats why im so mad theres only 1943 (updated 1942 that uses the frostbite engine) for the console because the PC version got scrapped in favor of BF3. Ialso agree with supereffect. 2 was good but getting in and out of game was TERRIBLE. If you changed your video settings then expect to sit there for 30 mins while the map loads. I HATED IT. Im jumping on BF2 right now though....someone needs to get run over by a jeep. That or blow a tank up with suicide c4 packs.

Ha, never had any problem with BF2 except for the shitty interface... like, seriously, EA never found out how to make a pretty interface in their Battlefield games. It sucks big black dicks since BF1942, and in BC2 it still sucks like F*CKING hell.
