FPS problem :\

Composur3 [n00b] Member Joined: Mon Jun 04, 2012 11:46 pm Posts: 45	FPS problem :\ Hi...I run source at 299 frames perfectly, then after 1-2 hours of playing it drops down to like 50fps. Im confused on why its doing this, any suggestions would be appreciated. I use a AMD Phenom II x4 965 as my CPU. I also use a Nvidia 550ti as my video card. _________________

But I checked his temps and they were okay a little high but nothing crazy. The PSU should be okay, i mean the PC is new. But once he shuts off the PC and waits a little it fixes itself for a little. It's also possible the video card could be going bad. I had a ATI card that did something similar, and it turned out that a memory module was corrupted. If you have a spare video card I would switch it out and see if you get the same issue.
