I have an iPhone 4..
Well the lock button has beem broken for a little while now. I pushed it and it never came back up.
thats not a problem..

The problem is that i need to restart my phone, its been roughly 3 months since i turned it off and its starting to become extremely glitchy..
I can turn off through the accessability menu, but does anyone know how i would turn it on again?
If i just plug it in will it turn on?
Id love some help, thanks!

My cousin does work on iphones, replacing screens, boards, buttons, just about everything. Does it thru a company he works for, if you wanted to part with it for a few days I could probly get u a decent discount on the work(if you don't have warranty anymore, which I'm assuming you don't)

It easy..
Step 1.) Turn your phone off
Step 2.) Get Itunes
Step 3.) When you turn on the Iphone Hold down the the "Home Button" and the "On/Off button" on the top right hand side.. Keep them held tell it tells you to connect the device to a PC.
Step 4.) Plug your phone into the PC
Step 5.) Start I tunes
Step 6.) Tell I tunes you revert it to factory settings. I forget the exact name of the command, but it is there.
Step 7.) Wait for itunes to finish.
Step 8.) Restart the phone
Step 9.) Enjoy

This will Reset it back to the way it was when you took it out of the box.. It will reset all data including passwords..

Forget the iPhone get the new Samsung phone, it's coming out in a couple of weeks. Apple is already suing Samsung over it so you KNOW it's gotta be good.

TBH I would wait at any cost on a Android phone until after I/O 2012 to see if there are any developments on Jelly Bean and the Nexus product line.

I'm an iPhone person, I love my phone. I have no complaints other than have to deal with iTunes on occasions.

Yeah its only over patents(like how the software reacts to double tapping the screen, simple shit like that, its kinda fucked up they have patents on double tapping the screen, just using that as an example, not exactly sure which patents they are suing over).

Yeah the Galaxy SIII looks promising...being a manager of a cellphone store....anytime a new device like an iphone or S III comes out...its big $$$ time.

Don't hold your breath on much of an upgrade, I've been hearing rumors of a 4g Iphone essentially like they did with the 3G/3GS but with Iphone 4s guts. TBH, besides the lacking of 4g connection, the 4S has been one of the better phones in terms of processor/ram/camera for a while now. FYI, you can get a 4S @ Radioshack for 149.99 right now, decent deal.
