Post Re: Memory
I like the Ripjaws X personally, but of these I've only used those. The Sniper module is designed to use less power in order to lower rig temperatures. Corsair is pretty decent and this particular module set is often used in benchmarking rigs. Both Ripjaws X and Vengeance modules have similar specs but from what I've been reading, the G. Skill RAM out-does the Corsair RAM ever so slightly.

I just ordered 2 8gig kits (2x4gb) of the RIPJAWS X G.Skill about a month ago, sadly one of the 4gb sticks is bad and crashing one of the machines, I'll let you know how the rma process goes.

Damn. I've been using this 8gig kit since about Christmas and still going strong. Just ordered an 8gig kit of this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 3M2A1866C9 because it's the only kit with 4gb modules at it's speed on my new mobo's QVL list that I could find.

This is what I have and haven't had any issues yet -- might even pick up two more sticks of it (don't think I need 16GB's, but, for $40, why not??)
