It's probably your power supply, you need to get that shit replaced ASAP.
No, Digital output only may have been turn on (or off, I don't remember). So check your audio settings.

The first thing i would do is test it out on another computer.
If it dosen't work on the other computer, it's broke, buy a new one.
If it works on the other computer, it's your hardware, software, options.
Make sure all your volumes are up, make sure it's connected properly in the green hole, i know you can hit that one.
Also make sure your audio mixer is the card your running. Another thing, make sure all of your soundcard drivers up to date.
