The new drivers 275.33 are wreaking havok upon users systems.

Because everyone has the exact same computer and specs, so he couldn't possibly be telling the truth and your computers must be what everyone else has and nobody in the world has had any problems with that driver.

If one component works for some users, and doesn't for others - is it that component fault, or is there slight possibility that those failing users have something wrong with one or more of other components?

Anyhow for those that fail - check official nVidia forum or here to find the answer for your problems.

The most likely event is that it is certainly the component's fault. When you make a driver for a graphics card, you go through quality control to make sure that your product will work fine with other components under any circumstance and under as many different variations of hardware as possible.

Nvidia is not bad, they have much higher qualities in components the can produce much higher results, however they cant handle quite as much stress as ATI. This is mostly because Nvidia is on the leading edge of tech and don't have any precedents to improve on.

Reborn - disagree. "product will work fine with other components under any circumstance and under as many different variations of hardware as possible" implies idiot proof component. At this very moment hundreds of people in beds, cars, club's bathrooms are working hard on producing new idiots...

CLorox tells the truth. Fucked my comp up good, took me two days to figure it out and fix.

So far it seems be working just fine for me. It seems to have actually fixed a problem I was having. My screen would just go black for about 30 seconds, then my comp would restart itself. Was happening about 3 times a day. Now that the new drivers are installed it has stopped(for the time being.)

No need to continuing bagging on Clorox, I think he no knows every driver effect every unique build differently.

Stick to helping people who have issues.

A small amount of people have had problems with the new drivers and I think it was nice for Chlorox to point it out for people who may not have known. I on the other hand have been running the new drivers since they came out and I don't have any problems.
