sorry i accidently put this in general to, i didnt know this forum existed
I am having trouble with condition zero and coounter-strike 1, I dont have the disk with me and I am at my m oms house so I installed steam logged in and installed the games, that worked, and i opened the games, but in servers there was like only one server and it either didnt connect or verifcation fails and if I play mission in CZ it freezes before the game starts, please help, thanks

just join a server and let it sit there for 10-15 mins then it'll work fine
It's trying to download the updates for the game before it starts. If it's a fresh install, it could take quite a while. If you're on dial-up, you might want to take your PC to a lan center and hook-up for an hour so you can download the updates faster.

o, ok, thanks, no ive got a fast internet, so just wait possibly a couple days then try playing again and it should work? I just got the half life 2 silver pack, same exact problem, and with condition zero it got to 100% and it still isnt working, but i guess I will wait

Restart steam and see if that helps.
