I had same problem 2day after a bios update. wouldnt boot

"ultra dma-5 smart capable but command failed"

I was well cheesed off, tried everything to get it up and running. I'd even gone to the loft and found my old motherboard ready to rip my system to bits....
THen I had a rush of crap to my brain.

i took out the battery from the motherboard (if your doing this disconnect all power) then I used the jumper to clear cmos + rtc ram, put in the battery turned on
the power and .....wallop...booted straight to OS (win7 64 bit) . it may not work for you but it might be worth a try before you start buying new boards,hdd's,psu etc.
