CS crapping out on me
Upgraded to win 7 64bit and downloaded steam, mw2 and CSS. MW2 works fine but when I start up CSS I get a "Platform Error: Module Failed to Initialize". Did this: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_art ... -WUCV-4502, which is: Load Steam Go to File > Settings > In-game tab Uncheck "Enable Steam Community In-Game" Click OK Run the game and test the issue It worked fine till I checked that "Enable Steam Community In-Game" box again and tried to start it again. I see the "Loading..." in the bottom right corner now with the CS background and thats as far as it gets, where that thing is checked or not... Some googling shows that it might be a 64bit issue, any ideas?

Re: CS crapping out on me
I'm running Win 7 64 bit pro here and CSS is running just as good as in XP. I have no idea why it's giving you trouble :(

Delete CSS.
Download CSS.

Re: CS crapping out on me
Did you do the second part of steampowered link -- "Change the language for Steam"?
Also, are you running with UAC enabled? If enabled, did you change the settings for both hl2.exe and steam.exe to run as administrator?
I run CSS on Win7 Pro x64 and have no problems -- but then again I've had UAC disabled from day 1.

Re: CS crapping out on me
Tried all that, nothing works. Also tried deleting as well. Here's where it gets stuck: Interesting thing is that when I enter the game, and sort of move the mouse in the direction of the menus, I hear the menu-click sound, but clicking on anything wont change anything. Trying to enter a game from steam servers just gets stuck at that picture.

Re: CS crapping out on me
Put -autoconfig in the set launch options. Right click on source in ur games list, click properties, and idr exactly where, but its in one of those tabs, try that. If it works, remember to take it out after u redo ur settings or next time u start the game it will reset them again
