Sooooo...i bought Warcraft III Reign of Chaos in Digital Download on the Blizzard Online Shop. I made the normal installation and then patched it up to 1.24b.

I was playing the campaign with the humans, and when i wanted to play the chapter 6, the screen just blacks out, it doesnt boot the mission, it doesnt F*CK up my laptop, it just wont load the mission.

I unnistalled the game and reinstall it, i used the automatic win cheat untill i got to the mission on chapter 6, now it did load up, i patched it for 1.24b and again i tryed the same thing and it wouldnt load.

I googled for this issue and it wont came up, i send an email to support@blizzard and they send me back an automatic reply, saying something about my directx and my video drivers. I installed the latest update driver for my vid card and i already have the lastest directx on my vid card (i think) 10x, and the issue still stands.

If anyone had this same issue please help me out, im using vista premium.

Any error messages? Does it crash the game to your desktop? Or does it just freeze and you have to alt+tab out to close it manually? Or does it just close by itself?

No error messages it just goes black, i have to alt+tab to close the game, ive been researching in the blizzard tech forums, and a lot of people are getting this error, blizzard are now aware of it and say that it is a bug and that they are investigating the case, they will probablu release a fix later on.
