I've been in a battle with my ISP over the lag on my internet. He has a new antenna that he's not putting up for me and says that he doesn't see any problems. Anyway, he wrote my wife this:

If I could get him to set up and ping from your computer while he is playing his game. If I could get him to ping 72.48.124.10 if he is losing packets to my dns, I will give him some addition ip's to test to help narrow the problem

sounds like he wants you to connect to his server ingame so he can monitor your connection and see where it's F*CKING you.

What kind of internet are you using?

He wants you to connect to the n00bfest CS server and ping his DNS server (the IP that he posted). If you're losing packets to his DNS server, then you've got a connection problem between your house and him -- which would mean it's a problem with the wireless. If you're NOT losing packets to his DNS server, then you're losing packets somewhere else. He wants to give you more IP addresses to ping so he can figure out where the gears are gummed up.

coach, use the command prompt from your accessories folder under start\programs. after you connect to n00bfest cs, type tracert 72.48.124.10, hit enter and go back to playing cs for a few min. then give this guy the results. sounds like he'll want you to repeat this with other IPs too.
