I was looking into renting a game server for a month or so just to see how it went. Anyone know a good place to get them from? And where does n00bfest get theirs?

n00bfest gets its hosting from first person servers -- an upstart company that's not quite ready to serve the public yet.
We used to use gameservers.com. Check 'em out.

There's a huge market of server companies out there. How much you want to spend and what performance you want out of your server are two questions you need to answer before you go hunting. There are servers priced above $60 for a month at 12 slots, there are also servers priced at about $10-15 for 12 slots.

Decent, but not the best. If you're looking for a 12 or so person server, then Gameservers is ok. If you want any bigger, go elsewhere.
