Anyone got a link? When I look it up, I can only find the main AIM, which eats up resources like a bitch.

You can use AIM on xfire. Xfire doesn't use a lot so not sure if it will increase.

Good call. I read this and about creamed myself. Just uninstalled AIM client. Now using it on xfire.
