Post anyone use a lachesis mouse?
so i got mad and destroyed my G5 the other day, only took 2 swinging hits from the cord to destroy it against my desk.

i ordered a razor lachesis a few days ago, it'll be here on the 5th. anyone have one? use one? likes / dislikes?

right now i'm using my numpad as a mouse since i cant find my old intellimouse, pretty gay but it definitely helps me combat my addictiveness to being on the computer.

got one, love it... took a little while to get used to, but once I found a setting I liked, this mouse is like no other I've had before. It also helps that I got it brand new for 30 bucks on ebay. One thing to note, if you like a heavier mouse, you probably won't like this one too much. I've got a friend that has the g5 and loves the fact of the weights in the mouse, and hated how light the lachesis is.

also, try throwing the dpi up to 4000 at least once, it's just really funny how sensitive this mouse can get, you can spin your char in circles by just a flick of the wrist...

I have a Death Adder, I've been loving that a lot.

I know it's not the lachesis, but it's made by the same company, so it's at least somewhat relevant ;) . I'm sure you'll like your lachesis.

I have one, the higher settings are ridiculously high. The death adder that I had was a lot easier to use. I've had this one for a little over a month and I'm still getting use to it.

any particular reason?

that's the main reason I'm not going with another logitech, i fear something is messing with the software causing it to shut off. I don't know if it was the actual mouse that was just getting old or if Vista was interfering somehow so I figured I'll try a razor and see what happens

Drivers for mouses never work right. Every time I install drivers for a mouse the buttons and shit don't bind in games, major headache.

I use mouse drivers for mine and it works fine. GTFO my nuts. Changing high/low sens on your mouse > than in-game.

I just replaced my G5 last month because it would start turning off for like 10 seconds randomly. I thought I had Logitech Updates turned off, bt maybe ti was a driver issue since you had the same problem.

yea that was part of the reason i was sucking in the server it kept shutting off the software and my dpi would change and F*CK me up

the lachesis is F*CKING awesome. i love it!! only took a few hours to get used to playing with it. default dpi's are weird 500, 1000, 1500, 2000, 4000 but its very cool

i havent installed teh software yet i'm gonna try it out like you guys said and see how it goes.
