Post Installing WOW for my wife, not working.
Anyone get this with WOW? I'm trying to install it on my wife's computer and we keep getting error after error after error. Her drivers are up to date except for maybe the bios drivers, which I don't know how to update. Here's one of the error messages:

Code:
The file "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Blizzard Entertainment\World of Warcraft Installer\MPQs-1\Classic common\unconditional\Data#common-2.MPQ\World\Maps\EmeraldDream\EmeraldDream_25_39.adt" could not be opened. If this problem persists, please contact Blizzard Technical Support. (InstallerFile::Open)

The installer was unable to read the file "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Blizzard Entertainment\World of Warcraft Installer\Installer Tome 2.mpq". This error may be caused by problems with the media or drive at C:\--for example, a scratched or dirty CD-ROM/DVD-ROM, hard drive corruption, or a networking problem while downloading the installer. (The data being read was "MPQs-1\Classic common\unconditional\Data#common-2.MPQ\World\Maps\SchoolofNecromancy\SchoolofNecromancy_32_32.adt", and the error code was 8.) If this problem persists, please contact Blizzard Technical Support. (Converter::Load)

Thanks for any help you can offer.

uninstall, it's WOW. jk :)

doesn't sound like an issue with a driver. you might try reinstalling and/or looking at the FAQ online for installing or just contact them directly.

Are you trying to install from a disc? If so I think there is a way to install from a download, you might want to try that.

Or you can just get rid of it, that's what I did after my free month Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_08

Tried on disc and on the wow site, both keep getting errors. Insalling it on XP. It's not for me, it's for my wife, my life remains somewhat intact.
