Ok my CSS is being gay. I get a lot of choke and lag like a bitch. My internet is fine surfing the web and shit has no problems at all. I've played left4dead and I didn't seem to have any lag problems with it. Some problems are that I can't even join a team like i try to join T/CT/AUTO nothing works I'm just sitting in spec stuck. I can't buy any guns like I click and I don't get my gun. I went into A DM server and wasn't even able to select my guns through the menu.

I've tried, Restarting CSS and Steam, I have ran the defrag but nothing. I NEED TO PLAY!!1 help my plox

It sounds like your power supply isn't able to hold power to your computer while playing CSS.

I'd highly recommend getting a new one.

You probably have a 50 watt right now, I'd go get a 250 watt and try it out.

sounds to me like your CPU cores are not communicating with windows properly. looks like you need a new one.

if that doesnt work, open your hard drive and clean out the needles. sometimes they get clogged with fragmented dust particles.

I'm goin way out on a limb but try deleting all that extra stuff that we dl when we join srevers and any skins you may have.

Ya after playing for a little longer i noticed my L4D is a gay laggy bitch too. But not all the time just 505 and sometimes i don't feel lag but they can't hear me and my typeing doesn't register
Like i typed HELP! and literally 15 min later near the end of the map it pops up...my team mates though I was retarded
