For some reason when i restarted my computer ofter installing it i got the error saying that my computer was sutdown wrong or some sofware is not working. Im using an Amd 64bit processor with media center edition 2002 xp computer. Does any one have any ideas y the update doesnt work?
Can you screenshot or post the exact error message here?
Also, just try rebooting again.

FACT: SP3 only works worth shit if you have a Windows XP SP2 install disc. (Meaning, when you first install windows off it SP2 is integrated). Stacking Service Packs actually serves to decrease preformance (IE, Vanilla XP -> SP1 -> SP2 -> SP3 is about as shit-XP as you can get, aside from namebrands).
It could be you just had a bad install. Try installing again, following directions to the letter.
Depending on circumstances, I just wouldn't bother with SP3. Windows Defender and other stuff you can get as seperate downloads, and unless you're going from integrated SP2 -> SP3, you will loose preformance. And with SP3, preformance change varies by program. Some increase, other decrease. Generally gamers stay away, but in either case, the change is negligible. So if you want it, install it I guess.

It was probably one of the worst $209 investments I've ever made. I find it is extremely hard to play video games with a giant dick in your ass.
