 System Recovery?

Post System Recovery?
My computer has had a bad registry for a long time now so i've decided to do a system recovery. How do i just recover the factory defalts and not my data files or anything else iv loaded on to it.

i paid for a prog called RegCure, and it's done wonders for my registry and startup. before you run any registry cleaning program, make sure you create a system restore point!!!!

How do you recover the factory defaults?

So are you saying you want to wipe your computer?

yea i have like almost 200gb worth of crap on my comp i whant off. ther are like only 3 games i play on it and with the registry crewed up the only way to get it of is a total wipe of my hard drive.

Reformat.

Put Windows disk into computer and follow instructions from there.

Yeah, do what Mike said, you get a cleaner installation that way, cleaning a registry may not solve all your problems.
