I keep getting autokicked from the server. Here is what I got.

It was [rct]R4M3N N1NJ4 and I changed it to [rct]Ramen Ninja and its still happening.

Delete your userconfig.cfg, autoexec.cfg

I deleted the autoexec one but cant find the userconfig one using search. Even checked hidden files.

My bad. It is config.cfg, not userconfig.

Sox is right, check ur power supply and clean it with a sock (better if it is used), do not forget the fan. If it seems to be working propperly, reinstall source.

I´m sure it will work, if it dont, Play DOD or WOW or whatever U want but source.

P.S. Did U erase all the hacks from ur steam directory?

Ok. I deleted the auto whats it and the config majiger and I uninstalled and reinstalled CSS to no avale. Oh well I guess I'm stuck owning S0X on CoD4. Thx for the effort you put in trying to help me.

Is it just the noobfest server or all servers in CS?

You have to make sure you manually delete EVERYTHING from CS's folder after you uninstall.

Ok, I have completely uninstalled Steam and reinstalled it and CS: Source and I'm still getting autokicked.

Try using a different name, like "bob"

Gi Joe was right about the name getting me auto kicked. Didn't have _ in my name like i needed. But now it can't verify my steam id. Have no idea how to fix that. I can get on the server for like 2 secs then it disconnects me.

For the other error, just restart your computer or try later.

I get that every once in awhile too, that's just Steam being stupid.

There's a file called client_registry.blob somewhere in the steam folder, deleting it fixes 90% of steam problems.

Apparently he's still getting auto kicked :( .

someone might have accidentally set his name to auto-kick, instead of kicking him, or banning?
Or an admin wanted to be a dickhead...

Well, I know its not the name because i tried using steve and bob like you suggested.

Just wondering if anyone checked Ozarks idea. Just checked today and its still auto kicking me.
