Yo guys whats up. I have a 8500GT and on my nvidia settings/preferences im not sure what to use.
Either the 1)global settings, 2)performance or quality setting (i get 70-80 fps on any in game video settings even when everythings set to maximum). What do you nvidia users use on your cards?

I set the slider one closer to quality from the middle.

For you, I would set it right in the middle....i guess, see what everyone else says.

I set options in game. I never set anything higher than 1280x960 or whatever and then play around with the rest until I find a sweetspot.

Use default and set stuff like aa and af in game.But for reference i never use aa in online games.But when im playing single player i pump it up as high as i can and still get at least 30 frames avg.

its pretty simple. just let it set. tweak everything in your setting menu of your game. otherwise your gonna have to switch the settings every time you play a diff game. that or switch nview desktops. if you have all of your games tweaked very high, then go into the settings and beef them up, and beef the game settings down. lol. that should about do it.

Also, if you're using Source, just fiddle with options and run the stress test until you find a good c-c-c-c-combo.
