I came on the regular CZ server tonight and after 30 seconds of killing it would freeze in place on me and show WARNING:Connection Problem in the upper right corner of screen. I kept coming back into the game and playing for 30 sec - 2mins and it would do it to me again. I tried at least 10 times and it kept doing it to me. I went to another server and played problem free for an hour. and I played yesterday on the noobfest cz server for a few hours problem free. something happened today and its only on the noobfest server. any help will be appreciated.

are you using a wireless connection?

there could be a bad hop.

do this:

tracert (n00bfest server ip without the port and parenthesis)

watch it, and if you get any asterisks or numbers above 100, then there are slow hops on the way and that's the problem.

Ugly, are you having any problems with playing? That's a very odd traceroute report... every 2nd and 3rd attempt is either high latency or just doesn't respond. Sometimes, a single router may have high latency, but that may simply be due to the fact the router may have low priority for ping requests.... in your case, every hop shows this phenomenon. I can honestly say your connection looks f*cked up. Either, your internet connection settings in windows is really messed up, or your ISP sux... do you use AOL? lol... anyway... find a new isp.

I've experienced a few connection problems with the fun servers as well... not as servere as yours... but a few lag moments/ freezes etc... and only on one occasion did it show a connection warning problem. I'm pretty sure its on the server end... they may be doing maintenance or repairs... its just part of the internet.... you can only control what's on your end, but youre at the mercy of everything outside of taht.

It stopped disconnecting me constantly but I am still "lagging out" for several seconds at a time in which everything just freezes and i can't do anything which typically leads to my death and that is very bad when I am the last person alive on a team and in a position to easily win. when i run the tracer while its running fine i get the below log. i ran tracer once during the lockup and it took several seconds to initialize the tracer and it started with an asterisk. Any help will be appreciated, i'll try to catch it next time it lags out and post that tracer.
