or instead of buying a whole new hard drive and shit... you could save important files to a CD... unless your trying to save the WHOLE compuetr's info.

hows about u go to controll pannel and see if the mouse/keybaord are actually installed...then u can check ur mouse/keyboard settings and see if anything is wrong

you might be able to get the info you need off the drive if you hook it up as a slave (secondary) drive to another pc. Just change the jumper on the back of the drive.
