 Map loading.
Hi guys,
Whenever we change maps I have to wait for it to load admin sounds (cornholio.wav and more) and I was wondering if this was normal. It kind of sucks because I miss almost every warmup round and sometimes even part of the first round. Is there any way to save these files so I don't have to load them every time? Thanks!

 Re: Map loading.
Set source to run as administrator if you're using vista/7.

 Re: Map loading.
I'm using XP and I'm 99.9% sure I'm admin. It's not THAT big of a deal, it's just a pain in the ass.

 Re: Map loading.
DL the quake pack in the download section, pretty sure it fixes that.

 Re: Map loading.
I downloaded the quake package and put it the cstrike folder. Is this correct? It doesn't seem to fix the problem.

 Re: Map loading.
I think they go into another subfolder within the cstrike.

 Re: Map loading.
In console type:
cl_downloadfilter nosounds
You can also put it in your launch options, to make sure it sticks.
