With you guys playing paintball I thought you might appreciate this.

I was playing in a big paintball tournament here in Utah and had been playing tournaments for quite some time when this one rolled around. It was a 5 man scramble which works just like scramble golf tourneys where they would randomly pick teams of 5 and then play a bracket style tournament. I was lucky enough to be chosen on the same team as my older brother and we were two of the more experienced guys that weekend. We both thought we had this in the bag.

A few games go by and we are just rolling teams winning every match up to the semi-finals. Our semi-final matchup was with a team with mostly new tournament players and one experienced guy we knew really well. The match starts and I take the left 50 (mid field) and pick off one early. The match progresses they lose one more and we lose three of our guys. I notice their player in the back is blindly shooting his gun around the bunker and not peeking out at all. I think to myself "this will be too easy now" I pick off another player and its now 2 on 2. The last guy on my team and on their team manage to eliminate themselves simultaneously by shooting eachother. Its down to me and the guy cowering in the corner.

I start to rush him shooting his bunker as fast as I can to keep him from popping out. As I approach his bunker I stop firing for just a second before I come around the side and bunker him his gun comes around the corner of bunker and BAM! I get shot right in the middle of the forehead. My arms go limp, I drop my gun, and immediately begin to drool. We lose and I go back to the staging area and my whole team is laughing at me and ask "what happened?" all I could say is "I got shot retarded"
