Okay I just got off work this morning at 6am...

I take the normal route to work. Couple turns to get to the interstate then a few exits down.
I'm cruising driving slow on the ramp and a pair of nice headlights come up behind me QUICK. From the looks of the headlights in my rear view i knew it had to be a very nice car. Even so i just wanted to cruise home not race not play around nothing.. The car pulls up next to me when we merge and i look over it's a Mazdaspeed6 it looked quiet similiar to this


anyways the windows were tinted 0% like mine were i couldnt see it in no nothing.. I roll my window down the guy/girl doesn't oblige, so whatever i'm thinking this has to be some rude kid trying to just fck with me. Don't mind it so i roll m window back up. next thing i know i hear him downshift (very very loud) so now i KNOW he's heavily modded and trying to race. I'm thinking ehh.. never ran a speed6 before with my current mods (supercharged,full bolt ons, tuned) So i downshift and decide to just stomp it no warning .no courteous beeps nothing... He keeps up with me and you can hear his turbo just spooling very loud 2-3 car lengths behind me. Finally i'm close to being home and after messin with this guy up and down the interstate i roll my window back down and wave and thumbs up the guy, once again he does NOT do the same... instead he turns on his front interior lights and my face drops, i burn the top of my roof slightly with my ciggerette. It was a fcking young ass sheriff still in his uniform and everything he couldn't have been no older than 28, he has a HUGE grin on his face waves at me then speeds off.....
i go home in shock just not knowing what to do with myself and just said fck it i'mma post and it and see what kind of replies i get lawl

lawl ive seen a lot more undercover cops lately its normally a big white chevy with black tainted windows so you cant see them

Lol dont worry about it, under cover cops (at least here in CT and Cali) dont rock japanese. There ONLY american, 1 they get deals on them through the government and 2 they get modded but only slightly, chips are the main part really and some are super charged NOT turboed. But than again as i said they are only american and most of the time they are chargers or some shit with a big v8 or possibly v6 that have a supercharger.

The only thing in the future i would look out for is:
Your rear vision mirror, always check it for sharks (cops that drive up behind you)
Look in your rear vision mirror or when you drive by cars you suspect of undercover cop cars and look to see if there sun visors are down or up, if they are UP you need to see if they are really bulky because they carry on the opposite side of the mirror the Cop lights.

If you cant see into the driver side tint dont even bother
If the car sounds HEAVILY modded (and you know what it has compared to yours) dont waste the gas lol
Always look at the tires, they all have that gay ass hub cap crap Lol


As for it being a cop, sounds like he was going to work or away from it, Dont shit your breakfast Lol. Cops can be tuners too, those are the ones that let Japanese tuner cars off the hook and go after the americans =P lol

Do police scanners work on undercover cops? i have one but i only use it in back roads when im going like 80 or 90

theres a cop in a town north of here... just one,, runs a built foxbody mustang, fun part is you can F*CK around for almost 20 min withhim befoe you have to worry about the county coming after you.

As long as you are on the correct channel than yes. Undercover cop cars are 100% equiped with the same things a normal cop car has, possibly without the ability to arrest and transfer people in there own car.

You just need to be on the right frequency channel to pick em up.

But just remember.... Dodge, Ford, etc. Look out for those cars and especially if they have like %5 tint all around its defs under cover

well it was a great race to be honest... i didn't think he would keep up that well haha, i usually do look in my rearview all the time to make sure everything is okay only if i'm going over the limit, but like i said i 90 percent of the just shift super slow and cruise the limit

I live in a state that has tons & tons of muscle cars on the road and is the home of the biggest cruise event of the world. Our local PD patrols in the interstate with 2 different seized vehicles, a dodge charger and an older corvette. Not sure what they have had done to them but all the work is done by a custom shop in the city. I see them on the interstate all the time and laugh when they get next to another sports car and try to stir up a race.


You would be surprised how much off duty police get away with. I used to hang out with a cop and we would go to the bar and get smashed. We got pulled over one night while he was driving in the suburbs. With him being a city cop I thought he was going to jail for sure as some city cops do not get along with suburban cops. He was tanked, I was tanked and the cop that pulled us over giggled and told us to be careful. During my friendship with him I got out of a lot of shit.


Another good way of getting out of tickets is learning names of Captains of certain departments. Just dropping their name can get you out of a lot of trouble. Just got out of a speeding ticket but I actually know the Chief and dropping his name let me on my way without even a warning.

The only thing with that Anal, is that sometimes they will radio back to headquarters to verify you know whoever works there.... Lol i can only imagine it can have the opposite effect if they verified they DIDNT know you

Lol i had a Undercover Cavalier on my ass yesterday, It was so obvious there was a cop car coming because EVERYBODY in my rear vision mirror was SO far behind me i was like ok theres DEFINENTLY a shark back there (cop patroler coming from behind lawl)

lawl, the only undercover cop cars we got here are some Dodge Chargers with some basic wheels, and when we follow them/they follow us, we can see the little lights inside on the roof.

Also, most cops use digital / trunked systems that standard analog scanners can't pick up. I wouldn't rely on an analog scanner for more than shits and giggles anymore these days.

I had a similar thing happen to me when I had my TGP -- it was a limited run car, only like 2,500 made each year for 2 years and another one pulls up next to me, then mirrors my speed so he's in my passenger window for a mile or so -- and makes it clear he wants to race.

We race for a few minutes but then he drops back randomly, I think I'm good but then I get the colored interior lights that are strapped to the sunvisors :-(

No ticket though, just told me to slow down -- so I wasn't about to argue with him that he baited me into it.

well where i live they just hired 100 new young bucks just for cruising the streets =(
