God damn, it had to happen on my computer, in my room, on my bed...




It happened not so long ago (from the 2nd of august to the 6th at night). My grand-mother wasn't feeling so well, so the whole family decided to come over, and stay for a week, thinking that she would die soon. They all decided to stay at a hotel not so far from where I live, except for my little cousin, she's 13. At that time, I was in Victoria, 6.000 km away from home, working for the Navy.

Last week, I thought about cleaning up my computer and delete some useless stuff or old stupid sprays (had almost 3gb of useless pictures in my gallery) when, at the really bottom of the "My received files" folder (which contains all the files I download from MSN Messenger), there's a file called "Privé" (or Private in english). I open it, it's a little girl, maybe not more than 15 years old, masturbaiting with a god damn dildo. The file's date was the 6th of august. Couldn't be me since I wasn't home, doubted it could be my mother (meh... or I just didn't want to think about that), and then I didn't realised yet that my cousin came here since I didn't know she was sleeping in my room. So I investigated.

Since this folder contains all the files that I download from Messenger, I took a look at the chat logs on Messenger. That's when I found out that my cousin used my computer. I decided to go further in my quest and read her chat logs. You know when you wish you should've stayed in your bed this morning, that's exactly what I thought. My cousin was doing some F*CKING show cams to frenchies in France or in Canadia. I mean F*CK!, that's my F*CKING 13 year old cousin, would you expect to see that she masturbates, or even dildo herself in front of other unknown perverts on the web?

Didn't know much what to do so I showed this to my mom, she showed it to my cousin's mom, she barely believed it, we called the police so now they investigate on this (in case she got a pimp), and they copied my hard drive.

I know some of you n00bs are parents, how would you even react to this? For a day or 2 I just didn't know what the hell I could do, it's really sad that today's children are ready to do such dangerous moves on the internet without even thinking about the consequences.

Today's life really scares me.

Would you just copy paste what is illegal? I found things on my computer, and I got all the dates and shit of what happens and who it is about. I did not post the video, I did not post my cousin's name, I did not post any link to anything, and I can totaly prove that I am not responsible for this.

Sorry to hear that dude, Yeah its a strange time were living in. I can only imagine what she gets out of degrading herself like that...if its thrills or excitement i would be concerned about her doing any of many things for thrills and excitement (shoplifting, drugs, adrenaline seeking needless risks, etc) maybe she just really likes attention and doesn't know what is good attention and what is bad attention? OR its possible shes getting paid.

Im not a parent but if i was.....my little girl would be getting one hell of a talking to, and restrictions. im talking like, take everything out of her room thats not a bed or books. until further point in time i feel shes become responsible enough to have anything.

You did good getting the word out, getting police authority involved will let her know just how unacceptable that behavior is. its a totally different feeling having police involvement than parent.

I am really dreading six years down the road, when my daughter gets to be around that age...what the F*CK is the world going to be like??! How much has shit changed in the past 15 years since I was that age??! I mean, think about that -- when I was 13, we barely had "internet" (and, by "internet" I mean the 14K dial-up, I think)...when I got in trouble, my parents take away a PHONE CORD THAT'S HOOKED UP TO THE COMPUTER!! lol. Now, the internet is always on, no phone cords necessary and you can talk on the phone at the exact same time that you're surfing the web. Think about that. What's this F*CKIN world going to be like in like 10 years??! It scares the SHIT out of me to think that my daughter could be doing shit like this in a few years....

But what do you do? totally block them off from the net and bad influences? because that would only drive them to discover what you are hiding from them maybe cause them to make bigger mistakes only they will not do them at home but out where you can't catch them.... Sigh

Yeah, but I think the only solution is to show them how dangerous internet can be. Most of them grew with internet nowadays, and some parents (like mine or hers) don't know shit about it or about technology, so they can't be told what's wrong and what's right on internet. I think that's the only way to be sure your child wouldn't do this... after that, you just have to trust them.

Just show what Fomenta can do, it's relative easy to get a standard identification read out of a person. All deals on how much you put your dick out on the internet.

Wow! What a gernational gap, at 13 we were happy to just kiss a girl. If you copped a feel outside the clothes you were the man but that just makes me shake my head. Kids should just be kids, stop trying to grow up so fast.

I got everything I did on this guy from an email address and 20 minutes -- including his home address.

I'm really not sure what the solution to these sorts of problems are -- but given that we've heard stories like these time and time again from parents or older relatives on the forums, its clearly something that needs to be addressed.

EDIT: ... but it probably would be a good idea to periodically google any {emails, usernames, screen names, phone numbers} of your children or little siblings / relatives, as well as use services like

Yeah the fact that this sort of thing exists, not to mention http://www.archive.org, it's pretty important to behave yourself as much as you can online. True, there are lots of real-world behaviors that aren't easy to give up and everyone's personality is different, but having an accumulation of that personality's manifestations build up on the internet over time creates a sort of snapshot for anyone's scrutiny.
