I have ADHD as well, and I don't go around being a pediphile lol.
I loved how much he begged and stuff.
You daughter could just play the computer for like an hour a day or something while being watched carefully. Just a suggestion. :)
GOOD JOB COACH :) WAY TO TAKE ANOTHER PEDIPHILE HOMO OFF THE STREETS! :)

Omg, I'd so add him on my myspace, but I don't wanna get stalked and "taken from my home"
But on the other hand, I want to cuss that AFRICAN AMERICAN out so bad and make fun of him... Like how funny would it be if a kid was sitting there laughing at you. He'd be so confused like "Where the hell did this kid find out about this stuff?!"
hahah

Good job, Coach.
I believe that the important thing now it is to show your daughter (over and over) what may happen to kids not so fortunate as she is for having parents like you. In the meantime, grounding is good... I have a 9-year-old daughter, I feel your pain; though my daughter barely uses a computer (and I'm not motivating her).
I've worked in IT for 20 years, I'm glad we now have all these options of social networking in the web; but sometimes it seems we were better before them.

Personally I don't think we were better off before them.
Freedom (especially on the internet) and personal security (especially on the internet) go hand in hand and they both require constant vigilance to preserve.
Letting kids use computers and urging them to get good at using them is a good thing. Keeping your children supervised online and stopping this sort of thing pre- or post-emptively is even better.

This is precisely why every time I hear the voice of a little kid while playing CS, which has happened quite a few times, I wonder what kind of parents let a little kid play a MA rated game where people talk all kinds of shit all the time and porn sprays are all over the place, and talking about smoking, drinking and drugs are common. The thought of any parent doing that makes me cringe, because it doesn't take much for things to go wrong in this day and age.
Anyway, it's good to know that nothing happened to your daughter. I was originally going to slam you for letting your 12 year old use the internet to talk to random guys unsupervised, but it looks like you handled things pretty well. This kind of thing is the reason why I dread the moment of having my own kids.

Exactly. The worst that can happen is that the kids may rebel for a bit, thinking you are restricting their freedoms, but that is the responsibility of a parent. It's always better to be safe than sorry.
