We're updating the mindcrack server to address some stability issues.

You'll have to manually download the following files:
http://n00bfest.com/users/fomenta/indus ... 184-lf.jar
http://n00bfest.com/users/fomenta/Compu ... er_2_3.zip

You may have to right click -> "Save link as"

After you download them, you'll have to disable the previous version of industrialcraft, and add the two mods to your minecraft installation.

You can do this in the FTB launcher.

1. Launch FTB Launcher
2. Click "Edit Mod Pack" button at the top under the MODPACKS tab.
3. Make sure the "Mods" tab is clicked.
4. Scroll down on the left column to find "industrialcraft-2_1.112.170-lf" and click the "Disable >>" button.
5. Click add mod, navigate to wherever you downloaded the two files and select one. Click open.
6. Do the same thing for the other file you downloaded.
7. Ensure on the left column you see "industrialcraft-2_1.112.184-lf" and "ComputerCraftAnalyzer_2_3".
8. "X" that window and launch the game.
9. Join the server.

Rotary Macerators are still off-limits for the time being, but we hope to allow their use ASAP.

For some reason, I find these manual updates fun. (Maybe I'm just masochistic like that...)
Thanks for the update.

Any changelog on what the new stuff we just added does?

The IC2 update was to address console spam that we think was causing server instability and lag. This is our first step in re-allowing the Rotary Macerator.
The CC update adds the ability to access block names and block IDs of items in adjacent to the turtle/in it's inventory through a peripheral called an "Analyzer".

Sidenote: The FTB launcher is apparently allowing people to develop "private" mod packs where the server operator can provide the mods/versions/config files and the FTB launcher does the autoupdating for you. Its not clear when this feature will be complete/whether we'll be able to do this, but keep an eye out for it. It would eliminate the need to ever manually update again. :-)
