I was sitting in the old main with 4thchains wondering why there was only 3 people in the main. Took me like 5 minutes to realize that our new server might be up. Lol! Awesome news. Nice work G! |

Will we be getting URLs for the servers or will we be sticking with the IP addresses? |

When we do, you should be able to connect to "gameserver.n00bfest.com:xxxxx" @davep, seriously. We have FOUR CSS servers. They can't all be n00bfest.com and it's a necessity that the port numbers are listed, AFAIK. Furthermore, if the dns was just n00bfest.com and didn't include a url modifier before it, that would limit the actual domain from using those ports. (actually, that last bit is bullshit I made up but probably true) @Gman, thanks for the heads-up! |

Dumb question: Will we have a CS:GO server on launch day (Tuesday). |

minecraft.n00bfest.com works, we had to wait for it to propogate to make sure it works (it did) and now we can add the subdomains for the css servers -- we'll post them shortly, but if they don't work just give it a few days, the DNS updates need time to propagate |

I meant with the ports obviously, n00bfest.com:27015, n00bfest.com:27016, etc. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't affect the website from using those ports since they'd be on a separate machine, doesn't really matter was just wondering since the shorter the address the easier to remember (but I guess gameservers.n00best.com:27015 is easier to remember then 64.31.54.98:27015 anyways). |

Thats not how it works, unfortunately. Hostname resolution is done separately from any port decisions. In otherwords, n00bfest.com will point to our webserver, regardless of the port you're trying to access. |

Has sourcetools been migrated into the new server yet? I banned a couple of TK'ers on the new server today and they aren't showing up in bans.n00bfest.com |
