Post subject:  Due to low popularity, the BF3 server has been canceled
I looked through the utilization statistics and realized that the server wasn't really getting any traffic, so I took it down. For now, extra money will go toward tournament prizes and whatnot until we move forward on either n00bfest Radio, find another use for it, or lower the donation goal.

Sorry all BF players... if you were there during the donations conversation... I don't even play BF3 and I was trying to save it for you guys. I'm sad to see it go, but we can't have dead weight.

The BF server was hard to keep populated, I don't blame you at all for taking it down.

plenty of other servers for us bf3 guys. I support this decision, why have dead weight on a server that's always empty

Would like to see more participation in the vent channel for it though. I know quite a few who will be in some servers but fail to be in vent which I think is detrimental to the community.

Sorry to hijack this a little but I agree with Tazzler, I don't play BF3 anymore primarily because I don't see n00bs in the vent channel so I (wrongly sometimes) assume that no one is on.

Sad to see it go. When it came out we had a pretty good audience for it, but everyone just stopped playing. I know shredder still plays a bit, but he's never in vent. So yeah, hit me up in vent if you're feeling squirlly for some BF3, I may join depending on what I'm doing. I still enjoy the game, but do miss the n00b squads. : (

Yeah, always seemed pretty hit or miss to find other n00bs online :/

But when we did have the rolling n00b squads, it was great fun!

That's the sad part... you say planty of other servers to play in... why would you go play in another server if n00bfest is right there... I understand if we were talking about CS:S and people wanted to play gungame but we had a server but I read people were going off and playing on others.
