Because the weekend of the 18th is a 3-day weekend for a lot of folks, I've changed the tournament date to the 25th. This will give teams a bit more time to practice together, too.

Teams will likely be announced some time this coming week.

I dont understand why it was changed... according to this poll (viewtopic.php?f=14&t=43760) 7 people can't play on the 25th, while there was 3 that couldn't, and 3 that just would rather do something else... majority didn't care if it was a 3 day weekend

GW Bush didn't win the popular vote but he still got elected.

Honestly, I'd rather make other plans than running the tournament on a 3-day weekend. My company gets Monday off and I'd like to utilize the 3-day weekend to go out of town and do something. Shit, I might even take that Friday off and make it a 4-day weekend.

It was close enough for me to feel like I wasn't going to piss off a ton of people, so I made the call to change it.

Again, my apologies to you folks for switching this shit up after I set a date. I just failed to look at a real calendar (you know, the type with holidays and shit already written on them) before I picked the date. Lesson learned, moving on.
