I recently discovered a ton of old animations that I did for n00bfest.com that go back to our beginning. I thought I'd share. Some of you old-timers may remember these from the 1.5 and CZ days.

They're all animated gifs, so rather directly showing the images here, I'd link you to them so you can watch them one-at-a-time.

This is our FIRST animation. It was back when our website was CorpseHumper.com and our slogan was "you pump 'em we hump 'em"

You can see me getting better at this throughout this process. Here's another one that is very similar to the one we have today:

Here's one that I came up with one morning I was visiting CorpseHumper. I awoke to Strange, CorpseHumper, and MesscanBandito all screaming "ALAKADAKA MUHAMMED JIHAD" into their mics and laughing hysterically. This is what they were doing in the CZ server:

My drawing and animation skills certainly aren't anything that I could pay any bills with, but I put a decent bit of effort into these a long time ago... so enjoy.

Yeah, I came out with a new one every few months or so and when I had a shitload of them, I used javascript to "randomly" show a different one each time.

I actually was thinking a random shuffle of the animations would be great. We could have like bi-monthly competitions for the best animation and whoever wins gets something.

yeah these things are way more a pain in the ass than they might look (NO OFFENSE GMAN). I've done my fair share and getting things right is very similar to developing for Flash when it first came out (when it was hard)
